Resja Campfens

Resja has a comprehensive understanding of the renewable energy sector in western Canada and the US. She is a senior executive with excellent analytic policy skills as well as a project manager capable of implementing in multi-jurisdictional arenas.

Resja has 20 years of international project management experience, successfully managing international, national, state and provincial permitting and regulatory activities in the independent power production sector.


At Sea Breeze Power, she managed the Environmental Assessment process for the Cape Scott Wind Farm (formerly Knob Hill), the first large-scale wind energy development to receive provincial regulatory approval and awarded an EPA by BC Hydro in the 2008 CPC; and the international permitting process for the Juan de Fuca Cable project, which received approvals from the National Energy Board and US Department of Energy. Resja is responsible for strategic planning for the wind division of Sea Breeze Power.

Through her role as Chair of the Market Development Committee, Resja continues to be a dedicated, active participant in discussions with government, the Utility, stakeholders, and CEBC members on issues of importance to the IPP industry.
Ms. Campfens has a BFA and an Executive MBA.
