CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
The new organization known as Chestermere Utilities Incorporated (“CUI”) will be a wholly owned utility subsidiary of the Town of Chestermere (the “Town”) and will provide safe and efficient water, wastewater and solid waste services to the Town residents and businesses. CUI will be responsible for setting the rates for water, wastewater and solid waste services for residents and businesses. CUI will enablethe Town to effectively manage its growing water, wastewater and solid waste needs while moving forward with other projects that are important to residents and businesses.
As the inaugural CEO, you will assume full startup and P&L responsibilities for CUI. In addition to providing strategic leadership, you will spark startup initiatives, establish financial and operational goals, direct operational priorities, integrate and initiate primary contracts, cultivate strategic relationships and establish policies and practices. Of great importance, you will set the tone and pace for the organization. The values you demonstrate will guide the team you build in their day-to-day contacts with customers, and with each other.
With executive experience in a utility or related field, you have excelled at general management in a regulated company. You have superior contract management experience and proven negotiating skills, successfully worked with different levels of government, instilled customer-centric values into the company mindset, and served your shareholders with distinction. CUI will provide you the opportunity to demonstrate how solid business leadership and community sensitivity can work for employees, customers and the owner: the Town of Chestermere.
