Together with Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, the We Wai Kai First Nation and Clean Energy BC, PwC is proud to support British Columbia's first Aboriginal Alternative Energy Gathering.

 

This conference–style gathering will join over 300 First Nation leaders, alternative energy trail-blazers, industry specialists and government representatives to examine trends and encourage discussion on practices and policies in BC First Nations' alternative energy development.

 

Conference sessions will highlight:

 

- Regulatory context facing BC First Nations alternative energy development;

- Technology development taking place in wind, hydro, solar, tidal and biomass fields; and

- Harnessing alternative energy solutions and economic opportunities for BC First Nations.
