Contest: International Student Energy Summit

Attention Students!

Clean Energy BC is excited to announce a contest open to all full time post-secondary students in BC with an interest in Clean Energy.

Prize: One complimentary registration to the International Student Energy Summit in Vancouver BC, June 9-11 2011.

The theme of the event is “The Evolving Energy Ecosystem” and will challenge delegates to take a holistic view of our global energy system - how can a diverse set of stakeholders involved in production, consumption, transportation, investment, government and academic institutions collaborate to meet the global energy challenge. How are roles and responsibilities within the ecosystem shifting as we face issues such as climate change and energy poverty? Students will also be inspired by real world examples being undertaken by UBC, Vancouver and the local clean tech industry.
