Dear CEBC Member,
The Electricity Council of Canada has asked CEBC to send out a request to our members (developers, operators, consultants, and contractors) inviting you to participate in a labour market assessment/forecasting survey. I agreed because the survey results, I believe can be helpful to you, the companies/employers as we go forward to build and develop the clean energy sector in BC.
The Electricity Sector Council (ESC) is the hub for research into human resources trends and sector-specific solutions to Canada's skilled-labour shortage. ESC was founded in 2005 as a not-for-profit partnership between business, labour, education and government. Its mandate is to address the need—demonstrated in an exhaustive report commissioned in 2004 by the Canadian Electricity Association and Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC)—for sector-wide recruitment and.
